The Hundred Years' War

Coming this September to a concert hall near you.  From the touching song sung by Richard the Lionheart from his prison tower to the bawdy love songs of Dufay and the energetic "danses reales" of Mr. Anonymous, from the lusty vigor of the Agincourt Carol to the tender religious motets of the period to vulgar drinking songs, Music Ficta brings it all to life.

Recording Project

Coming soon … a plan to record the complete music of Francesco Landini, the greatest Italian composer of the 14th Century.  All 154 pieces will be released over a five-year period....

Music Ficta Bangkok

Thailand's "even earlier music" ensemble brings the Ancient World, the Middle Ages, and the Renaissance to light with meticulously researched performances with voices and instruments.  Troubadours and ancient chants, saltarellos and pavanes, and gorgeous poetry all in the original languages.
